A new Android banking trojan called RemControl is spreading through fake streaming-app download pages, using convincing overlay screens to steal PINs and card details from more than 30 banks across Europe, the Middle East, and Canada. Researchers at Group-IB found evidence that AI coding assistance was used to help build parts of the criminal infrastructure.
